About Us

Jaci Diamond, Owner

Since taking over the school in 2012, Jaci has brought a deep passion for early childhood development and family-centered care to the program. She holds a Master’s degree from New York University and spent more than 15 years working as a pediatric speech pathologist before transitioning into school leadership. As a mother of two, she understands the importance of creating a nurturing, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Kim L'Hommedieu, Director

With over two decades of experience in early childhood education, Kim brings exceptional leadership, warmth, and expertise to her role as Daycare Director. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to supporting children, families, and educators, including serving as an educational coach for the state of New Jersey. A local resident and proud mother of two, she is passionate about fostering a positive, enriching environment where every child feels supported, confident, and inspired to learn.

Lead Infant Teacher: Miss Hiba

Miss Hiba joined Westfield Little School in 2022 and quickly became an important part of our infant room team. Since joining us, she has built strong, nurturing relationships with both the children and their families, creating a warm and welcoming environment where infants feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore. She holds an associate’s degree and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Hiba is warm, energetic, and creative, and she brings that spirit into the classroom every day. She especially loves creating exploratory art experiences for the babies and spending time outdoors, helping infants learn and grow through hands-on discovery and play.

Lead Toddler Teacher: Ms. Beatriz

Ms. Beatriz joined Westfield Little School in 2023 as a Toddler Teacher. She holds an Associate’s Degree and brings a caring, patient, and nurturing approach to the classroom each day. Passionate about early childhood education, Ms. Beatriz creates a safe, engaging environment where toddlers can learn, grow, and build confidence through play and exploration. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of providing children with a warm and welcoming environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

Lead Preschool Teacher: Miss Ashley

Miss Ashley joined Westfield Little School in 2019 and has been an important part of our school community ever since. As the lead teacher of our preschool class and a mother of two girls, she brings both experience and enthusiasm to the classroom each day. Miss Ashley creates a fun, energetic learning environment where children feel excited to explore, play, and grow. She implements the Creative Curriculum in her classroom and especially enjoys exploring monthly thematic units that encourage hands-on learning, creativity, and discovery. Through engaging activities, interactive lessons, and playful routines, Miss Ashley helps foster children’s social, emotional development.

Lead Preschool Teacher: Ms. Renee

Miss Renee brings both professional knowledge and personal experience to the classroom. As a mother of three boys who lives locally, she understands the importance of creating a warm, supportive, and engaging environment for young children and their families. Miss Renee holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and has a strong understanding of child development and early learning practices.

She is experienced in implementing the Creative Curriculum and believes children learn best through a balance of structured and unstructured experiences, including both child-led and teacher-led activities. Miss Renee enjoys creating meaningful learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and social growth while supporting each child’s individual developmental needs.
